I am a wife of 54 years, a mother for 53 years, a grandmother for 30 years, a great-grandmother for 8 years. My day begins with singing to clatter of dishes and an omelet. After God and my husband, Ron, my passions are writing and teaching swimming skills. An unwanted companion challenges faith and endurance – Restless Legs Syndrome.
To share my faith journey, I write. To walk beside “a new creation”, I chauffeur. I tip-toe among teenagers to help them build life skills . I have an outrageous dream: to start my own swim school. My collection of adoption stories, His Arms Here on Earth, was submitted to an agent for publication.
If any of these topics interest you, or you want to see just how crazy I am, or how wordy, visit my writing blog.
The panoramic photo is of the Headwaters of the Rio Grande River; the beginning of an almost 2,000-mile-long river that empties into the Gulf of Mexico. The journey through life is similar.
